“ Perfect and has never let me down. This has always been my go to taco shop and the quality and quantity that they give you is always top notch, especially for the price. The restaurant is clean and there's sooo many places to sit and eat. A great choice also to bring a small group of friends. Service is minimal but generally friendly. We ordered the brisket and carnitas - brisket is a little bit tougher this time around but the flavor was still there. Carnitas were delicious and to die for. With the Tues discount, it comes out to about $2.62 per taco (with tax included). We ended up getting 3 plates of 3 for a total of $23.61. Just awesome! ”

“ Best place for Authentic street tacos! Been on a search for good street tacos since moving from L.A. I've tried so many places in the surrounding North Texas area. The restaurant is newer and clean. They offer all the good meats here. They don't skimp on the meats too. On top of that, their taco sauces are bomb. It's hard to find a place that makes good taco sauce anymore. Every place I've tried has watered down, flavorless sauce. It gets packed with Mexicans during lunch. That's how you know it's good! ”

The steak quesadilla was loaded with perfectly seasoned, tender beef, and just the right amount of melted cheese. “ After finding our favorite taco joint closed on Sunday, we decided to give Calles De Mexico a shot. We sampled a variety of both Tex and Mex street tacos, with corn tortillas for Mex and flour with avocado for Tex. Of the chicken tinga, barbacoa, and al pastor options we tried, the barbacoa was the standout--tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef. The others were decent, but the barbacoa stole the show. I also ordered the costillas en salsa verde plate, and while these riblets require getting hands-on messy, the tender meat and incredible green tomatillo sauce made it worth the effort. We couldn't resist using the sauce on our rice, beans, and even to dip our tacos--it's that good! Service was a bit of a miss; despite sitting at the bar, the staff struggled with ticket confusion, leading to delays every time an order was ready. A system upgrade would really help smooth things out. They do have a full bar with Mexican beer options like Sol, Indio, Corona Premier, and Corona Familiar, adding to the authentic vibe. Although the tacos weren't our favorite in town, the barbacoa tacos are definitely worth the trip. Some chips and salsa at the table would be a nice touch, especially to tide guests over while they iron out their order flow. ”

“ We stopped in on the way back to Tulsa for a breakfast burrito to go and were so impressed. The flavor packed into their breakfast burritos is worth stopping for all on its own. We ordered breakfast tacos and chorizo burritos. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. The food was out quickly. 10/10 make the stop it's worth it. ”

“ I have been here twice. The staff has been nice and welcoming both times. I ordered the Mole Chicken Enchiladas both times since finding Mole is pretty rare and I have always liked it. Their Mole is pretty good and on the thick side and worth a try if you are looking to try some. The rice and herbs have been good and the rice is fluffy. The avocado has always been perfect and not too ripe. They are worth a visit! ”
